On one of the hotest days of the year, we hooked up a sprinkler and put it in the middle of the corral. “Hondo” decided that this was a whole lot of fun.
No fences to mend.. No horses to shoe..
Dalton got to do today what he loves to do…
Start the babies…..
The Tennessee Walker Babies especially!!
Double Dip, a Tennesse Walking Horse is only 2 years old ,but it is time for her to be introduced to a saddle. No one will ride her until she is 4 years old. With her owner, Monica holding her, Dalton introduced her to the saddle blanket. No Big Deal .
Then she was introduced to the saddle.
Now the introduction to the cinch around the belly…..this is where it can get very interesting…..
No Buck..No Jump..No Spins..No Kicks….This girl is a pro.
A little parade around the corral and the lesson was over.
